THE OFJ WEEKLY - Week 20 Recap

Real progress. No shortcuts. One week at a time.

THE WEEK THAT WAS…

Sunday, October 19 – Saturday, October 25

  • Starting weight: 258.0

  • Ending weight: 259.0

  • Change: +1.0 lb

  • Total steps: 107,494

  • Average per day: ~15,356

  • Pushups/Sit-ups:  Skipped all week

  • Calories: Didn’t track (took Sunday off as well)

It wasn’t a bad week, but it definitely wasn’t a structured one. The steps were there — over 107,000 for the week — but the rest of the system slipped a little. No push-ups or sit-ups, no calorie tracking, and plenty of meals out while traveling.

The good news? I kept moving. Sometimes that’s what keeps the wheels from falling off completely. A one-pound gain after a full travel week with plenty of good food and time with Beth isn’t the end of the world — it’s just a reminder of how much better I feel when I’m consistent.

Perspective matters: I’m not starting over. I’m just picking the plan back up where I left off.

THE UPCOMING WEEK…

Sunday, October 26 – Saturday, November 1

  • Step goal: 12,000+ steps daily (anchored with a morning walk)

  • Pushups/Sit-ups:  Monday–Friday

  • Calories: Track daily — stay mindful, not perfect

  • Schedule highlights:
🚗 Final week on the road (Beth traveling with me)
    👥 Customer visits Monday–Thursday
    💑 Friday: Date night
🎃 Saturday: Halloween party with friends

This week is about resetting — bringing the structure back, rebuilding the habits, and getting back to normal.

The plan’s simple: walk, track, and train. Earn the weekend by locking in five solid days.

I’ve had my reset. Now it’s time to follow through.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

“Nobody cares what you did yesterday. What have you done today to better yourself?”
— David Goggins

Last week doesn’t matter. The wins don’t buy you anything, and the slips don’t define you. The only thing that counts is what you do next.

That’s the beauty of this process — every day is a clean slate. No excuses, no dwelling, just the next step forward.

Until next time,
