THE OFJ WEEKLY - Week 22 Recap
Real progress. No shortcuts. One week at a time.
THE WEEK THAT WAS…
Sunday, November 2 – Saturday, November 8

Starting weight: 260.0
Ending weight: 260.2
Change: +0.2 lb
Total steps: 54,525
Average per day: ~7,789
Calories: Way off — but honestly, that was expected
It wasn’t a banner week, but it was a necessary one.
The travel finally wrapped up, the schedule calmed down, and I started easing back toward something that resembles normal life. Steps were low, calories were high, and the scale barely moved — which, all things considered, I’m calling a win.
Sometimes “not losing” is just another way of saying “held it together.”
After the chaos of the past few weeks, I’ll take that trade every time.
THE UPCOMING WEEK…
Sunday, November 9 – Saturday, November 15

The goal this week is simple: get back to the plan.
Steps: 12,000 a day (minimum)
Calories: ≈ 2,000 daily — track again
Push-ups & sit-ups: Back in the routine Mon–Fri
Mindset: Normalcy > Perfection
After a long stretch on the road, it feels good to be home. There’s work to catch up on, projects waiting, grandkids in the mix, and plenty that won’t get done today — and that’s fine. The goal isn’t to conquer the elephant in one bite; it’s just to keep chewing.
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

“The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.”
— Dolly Parton
The last few months have had plenty of rain — travel, setbacks, off-weeks, and messy days. But the rainbow’s still out there, and it’s earned one walk, one meal, one decision at a time.
Progress doesn’t need to be pretty. It just needs to keep happening.
Until next time,
