THE OFJ WEEKLY - Week 6 Recap
Real progress. No shortcuts. One week at a time.
THE WEEK THAT WAS…
Sunday July 13 through Saturday July 19

Starting weight: 272.0
Ending weight: 276.0
Change: +4 lbs
Total steps: 104,871
Average per day: ~14,981
Calories: Stayed under 2,000 each day (Except for Friday and Saturday - which were planned)
Consistency streak: 6 weeks straight of showing up
It was a good week - not great but good. Weekend off was planned a long time ago and it was a lot of fun. It’s not realistic to lose weight when you’re completely letting go of watching things so I’m not shocked with where the week ended up…
THE UPCOMING WEEK…

Sunday, July 20 – Saturday, July 26
Step goal: 12,000+ daily (84K+ total)
Workout goal: Pushups + situps Mon–Fri
Food plan: Stay dialed in during weekday travel (grilled > fried, skip the beer when I can)
Planned off-track event: Pool party Saturday
Stretch goal: End the week around 268 lbs
Schedule highlights:
🛻 Sunday = Long drive day
📊 Tues–Thurs = Sales meetings in Minnesota
🎯 Mornings = Critical for steps (evenings are booked)
❤️ Friday = Date night (keeping it light-ish)
🏖️ Saturday = Pool party — enjoy it, no guilt
The key this week is balance.
There’s a window here — a real chance to crack 270 and stay under it. But only if I stay focused when it matters most.
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

“A goal without a plan is just a wish. Make your dreams a reality."
— Antoine de Saint-Exupery
Wishing is easy.
Planning is work.
This past week reminded me that if I want to hit my goals — not eventually, but soon — I can’t just hope I’ll get there.
I need to plan ahead.
Steps in the morning
Food decisions before the menu shows up
Pushups and situps when the schedule is tight
This isn’t about dreaming. It’s about executing.
Until next time,
