THE OFJ WEEKLY - Week 8 Recap

Real progress. No shortcuts. One week at a time.

THE WEEK THAT WAS…

Sunday July 27 through Saturday August 2

  • Starting weight: 274.5

  • Ending weight: 268.3

  • Change: –6.2 lbs

  • Total steps: 107,204

  • Average per day: ~15,314

  • Calories: Stayed within 2K calorie goal each day (Except for Friday - which was planned)

  • Pushups/situps:  Locked in throughout the week

  • Milestone: 8 full weeks of this restart

  • Total loss since June 9: –18.3 lbs

This was one of those rare weeks where everything clicked.

Movement, meals, mindset — it all lined up. And the scale reflected it.
The real win, though, is that it didn’t feel extreme. It just felt consistent. Intentional.
Exactly what I’ve been building toward.

And we capped it off by officially launching the OFJ Skool community — proof that this isn’t just about me anymore. It’s bigger than that. It’s about showing what happens when you stop drifting and start deciding.

THE UPCOMING WEEK…

Sunday, August 3 – Saturday, August 9

  • Step goal: 12,000+ per day

  • Calories: Under 2,000 daily — no planned off-days

  • Pushups/situps:  Monday through Friday

  • Travel: Sales road trip — planning morning walks to avoid the “8,000 steps to go” trap at night

  • Social plans: Possible catch-up with friends next weekend (undecided)

  • Focus word: Momentum

The road can be tricky — hotel nights, restaurant menus, long drives.
But the solution is simple: walk first thing. Track everything. Don't drift.

This isn’t a week to prove something.
It’s a week to continue something.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"People with goals succeed because they know where they're going."

-Earl Nightingale

This is what it looks like to know where I’m going:

  • Steps each day

  • Food choices that match my goals

  • A system I can stick to — on the road or at home

When you know where you’re headed, every small decision gets easier.
Not easy — just easier.
Because now there’s a reason behind it all.

I’m not winging it.
I’m walking toward it.

Until next time,
